With busy schedules only getting busier, and stress increasing with each to-do on your list, your mental health can be wearing down. When stress rises, your physical health starts to falter, and your gut health begins to take a turn for the worst.
There’s a lot of information out there about the gut-brain connection and even Harvard took their take on it. Even if you’re conscious about what you eat, your stress could be wrecking more havoc than you know.
I’ve always had a strong gut-brain connection and really didn’t start focusing on helping it until the last few years.
Whenever I get stressed or just bottle up something, my entire digestive tract becomes unruly.
Before I knew the cause, the things that I ate became a Tetris-puzzle of what caused what symptom and what should I avoid. All this time, it was just me making myself sick.
